JoongAng Ilbo | The Young and the Old: A Connection Through the Past — GOBOKII, Spotted on Social Media

The JoongAng Ilbo reported on the influx of young customers to the Dapsimni Antique Market, noting that the entire market has become bustling thanks to word-of-mouth on social media about “GOBOKII,” a shop opened by young collectors. The couple fell in love with Joseon-era wooden furniture while preparing for their new home, and after scouring antique shops nationwide to build their collection—which they initially showcased in an atelier exhibition—they opened GOBOKII in Dapsimni last year. GOBOKII was also mentioned as one of the participating teams in the “Young Antiques” exhibition organized by Boan 1942 in Tongui-dong.
