Portable Medicine Chest
A medicine chest that herb peddlers carried on their backs. Open the two hinged halves and dozens of ring-pulled drawers appear — each once holding a different herb.
The reversal is the best part: closed, it becomes one taciturn box. Before the rows of drawers reddened by handling, one tends to linger.
