JoongAng Ilbo Picnic | Why Are People in Their 20s and 30s Interested in Antique Art? Go Bok-hee Opens a Gallery in Dapsimni

The JoongAng Ilbo’s “Be-nic” newsletter cited second-generation shops like “Go Bok-hee” as key factors behind the popularity of the Dapsimni Antique Market. Kim Seong-ho, the owner of Go Bok-hee, which opened in January of last year, said, “People started flocking here in the second half of the year, and it seems we had about 1,000 visitors last weekend.” Rather than displaying every item, Go Bok-hee is characterized by its curated displays with ample white space, offering small items that are easy to incorporate into daily life.
