Goguryeo Earthenware Jar with Two Lugs

고구려 토기 항아리

An earthenware jar from Goguryeo. The flaring mouth, the small lugs on either side of the round body, and the fire-darkened surface quietly carry some fifteen hundred years.

The old repair marks on the neck have been left as they are — the cracks and mends are part of this jar's own history.
